- Elbow crutches
- Auxiliary crutches(small, medium and large)
- Tripod stick
- Quadi stick
- Wheelchairs
Walking frames both with or without wheels
The prescription of walking aids should ideally be done by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist after a thorough assessment of gait, balance, cognition and the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and neurological systems. The assessment should also take into account the individuals day to day mobility requirements.
